Choosing the right storage unit for your storage needs is important. As we have a range of unit sizes on offer at Store Fast, clients have the option to hire a storage unit suited to their exact storing requirements – which means that you are only paying for what you need!

We offer units ranging from 11m² to 3m², thereby catering for minor and major storage requirements. An 11m² unit, for example, will be suitable for storing the content of a 1 to 2-bedroom home or apartment, or 2 medium-sized offices (we do not do storage of archived documents), whereas a 3m² unit will be sufficient for storing loose items lying around the house.

The cost of our storage units also vary according to size and clients can expect to pay anything from R782.00 to R1485.00 per month. Our minimum rental period is one month, and as there is no maximum rental period, clients are welcome to store their belongings with us for as long as required.

• Take an inventory of all the items you need to store. Making a list will ensure that you do not forget about certain items when having to consider the amount of storage space you need. When making the list, think about whether you may add additional items to the list in the near future.

• Packing items into storage boxes may help you to fit more items into your storage unit.
• The duration of your storage period should also be considered when checking how many items you can fit into a storage unit. If you are only storing your belongings for a short period, items can be stacked closely together. However, when storing long-term, it is important that you leave some space for ventilation.
• Make sure that the storage facility where you want to store your goods have taken measures against theft, pests, water damage and fire.
