Listed here are some FAQ’s regarding our storage units and services:

How to book?

The availability of the storage unit you wish to rent must be confirmed first. Once confirmed, you are welcome to book your storage unit online, by going to Book Now. If, however, you wish to come and view our facilities first, you can arrange a viewing by contacting us.

What are the costs?

The costs of your storage unit will differ depending on its size. Prices include VAT and are as follows:


  • 3m² unit: R782.00 incl. VAT per month
  • 4m² unit: R805.00 incl. VAT per month
  • 5m² unit: R900.00 incl. VAT per month
  • 8m² unit: R1120.00 incl. VAT per month
  • 9m² unit: R1260.00 incl. VAT per month
  • 11m² unit: R1485.00 incl. VAT per month
Do I pay weekly or monthly?

Clients will be required to pay a monthly rental fee for their storage unit.

What can fit into a storage unit?

To see what will fit in your storage unit, simply click on the Unit Sizes tab above for an estimation. We recommend that you come and view our facilities to make sure you choose the right size.

We have a 1-ton goods lift available on site to assist clients in lifting bulky items. Longer items such as couches, over approximately 2 metres, will have to be carried up the wide stairway.

What items cannot be stored?

We have identified certain items as hazardous and unsuitable for storage in our facilities. These items include:

  • Any hazardous items
  • Living plants
  • Animals or Animal Products
  • Toxins, poisonous or contaminated items
  • Gas Cylinders (Full or empty)
  • Firearms, explosives or ammunition
  • Radioactive goods
  • Flammable Liquids such as Aerosols, Kerosene, Bleach, Gasoline, Lighter Fluid, Paint Thinner, Ammonia, and more.
  • Food items or any perishable goods
  • Waste
  • Illegal or stolen items
What security measures are in place to keep stored items safe?

We have fitted various security measures at our storage facilities to ensure that your items are safe 24/7.

We have installed an alarm system and internal CCTV cameras, so the premises are monitored day and night. 24/7 district security patrols by local armed response teams, with CCTV camera installed on opposite corner of our facilities. This area is monitored 24/7 by the security company. There is also an effective district improvement management team in the area that daily attends to the maintenance and prevention of petty theft in the area.

Do I have access to my stored goods 24/7?
No, clients will only have access to their stored items during our operation hours. Trading hours are: Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm, Friday 8am to 4pm and Saturday 8am to 1pm by appointment only. We are closed on Sundays and public holidays.
Do you have packaging materials available onsite? What kind of materials?

For our clients’ convenience, we do have a selection of packaging materials on sale at our facilities. We offer:

  • Storage Boxes
  • Tape
  • Bubble Wrap
  • Markers
Is there a minimum rental period?

Yes, the minimum rental period is one month.

Is there a maximum rental period?

No, clients can make use of our storage facilities for however long they need.

Will anyone else have access to my storage unit?

No. Only in the event of a default in payment to remove goods to resell to defray expenses which will be outlined in the lease agreement.

How quickly can I make use of a storage unit?
Depending on availability, you are welcome to move in during trading hours on the same day that you have booked and paid for your unit. The last pickup or loading off of goods can be done half an hour before the closing of business, i.e. Monday – Thursday 8am to 4.30pm, Friday 8am to 4pm and Saturdays  8am to 1pm by appointment only.
Are there trolleys or forklifts available on your premises?

Yes, trolleys are available; there are no forklifts available. Trolleys will be available for ease of moving smaller items and parcels. Longer items such as couches, over approximately 2 metres, will have to be carried up the wide stairway. There is a 1-ton goods lift on site available to assist clients in lifting bulky items.

Do I need my own locks?

We require that clients make use of their own locks to secure their belongings, as this also ensures that they are the only ones with access to the storage unit. Padlocks can be bought on site.
